Little Gems ~ distinguished single vineyard Hunter Valley wines. 

It took an amazing vintage to produce the first ever Little Gem Tempranillo. In 2018 the vines on the Riverbank vineyard in the Broke-Fordwich region thrived in the warm, dry conditions producing berries with intense ripe flavours. Seamless and silky with voluptuous layers of fruit and oak flavours. The extended time in oak has allowed for full integration of the components, providing a lovely balance.

Tempranillo is a variety that originates in Spain and it is very well suited to the Hunter Valley's warm, dry climate. The combination of vine maturity and a great vintage led Ian & Suzanne to decide on releasing a Little Gem Tempranillo for the first time. Only 192 dozen produced it is a wine to savour.
